First Pension Custodian Nigeria Limited adopts the highest Corporate Governance standards as we believe these to be at the core of the long-term survival of any financial institution. Our Board and Management remain committed to upholding the core values of transparency, integrity, honesty, accountability and optimum protection of contributors' assets. To this end, we consistently update our policies and processes to drive continuous improvement in our service offering while keeping in mind our ultimate objective of maximizing stakeholders' value.

Codes and Regulations Operating within a highly regulated industry, we place a premium on compliance with applicable legislation, regulations, and codes. Transparency and accountability remain essential to our work culture. Through robust Board oversight, the institution ensures compliance with these tenets.

Compliance with the Code of Corporate Governance As a licensed Pension Fund Custodian, we confirm that, throughout the year ended 31 December 2020, the Company complied with the principles set out in the Code of Corporate Governance.

Whistle Blowing Procedure In line with our commitment to instil the best corporate governance practices, we have established a whistleblowing procedure that guarantees anonymity. The company has dedicated phone numbers (integrity lines), emails and portal to facilitate the whistleblowing process. We recognize that it is not always easy to raise concerns about likely misconduct, but we encourage our stakeholders to speak up. Concerns are dealt with confidentially and appropriately.
