Olaniyi Yusuf(Non-Executive Director)

Olaniyi Yusuf is the Managing Partner and Lead, Social Sector practice at Verraki Partners- a proudly African business solutions company partnering with enterprises and governments to accelerate the development and transformation of Africa. Prior his assumption of this role in April 2019, he was the Country Managing Director of Accenture Nigeria from 2010 to 2019. In 1995, he joined the Management Consulting Division of Arthur Andersen 4 years after starting his career at Joint Komputer Kompany, an indigenous computer company.

Niyi holds a Combined Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Economics from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria and a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from University of Wales. He has technical certifications in Project Management, COBIT, IT Governance, Business Continuity, Solution Planning, Solution Delivery and IT Service Management.

Niyi is a respected transformation change manager with over 30years experience advising C-level executives across private and public sectors on navigating strategic change and digital transformation. He has been actively involved in the creation of key infrastructure for the Nigerian banking industry including the establishment of Interswitch, the CRC credit bureau, Unique Tax ID Number, Retail payments and the ongoing Banking Industry IT Shared Services including the Cash-less Lagos initiative, and Tier 3 Data Centre outsourcing.

He specializes in Programme and Project Management, Strategic IT Effectiveness, Systems Integration, Digital Transformation, Enterprise Architecture, Corporate Transformation, Leadership Development, Process Innovation, Design Thinking, Change Enablement and IT Governance.

Niyi is a Member of the Governing Council of Corona Schools Trust Council, Chairman of the Technology Committee and Board Chair, Corona Secondary Schools. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of Fountain University Osogbo and WIMBIZ (Women in Management, Business and Public Service). He is a member of FATE Foundationʼs Governance Committee after being a member of the FATE Foundation MSME Policy and Advocacy Committee. He is a facilitator of Employability Training for the Empowerment Committee of NASFAT Society, and Chairman, Junior Achievement of Nigeria, an organisation with a focus on improving financial literacy, job readiness, digital skills and entrepreneurship amongst our Youth.

Niyi is the Chairman of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group, the foremost private sector led think-tank committed to the development of a modern globally competitive, sustainable and inclusive Nigerian economy. He had served the NESG for over a decade in different pay-to-serve roles including as champion of the Science & Technology Policy Commission.

Niyi is a Fellow of the African Leadership Initiative West Africa (ALIWA) and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network. He is an Expert in Residence and facilitator at the Lagos Business School, amongst other Education, Empowerment and Entrepreneurship oriented Not-For-Profits where he performs his community service and lives his passion of helping others to be more successful.
