Adefemi Ogundele (Chief Financial Officer)
Adefemi is a consummate professional with over two decades of experience in Auditing, Finance and Operations.
He commenced his professional career at a Big 4, PricewaterhouseCoopers before his foray into banking, working across local, regional and international banks including Ecobank and Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) where he spent over a decade in various roles within the finance function and was involved in delivering key projects across markets within Africa and the Middle East. He won recognition awards for responsiveness and creativity by the SCB Group Non-Executive Director in 2009 and the country CFO as Finance staff of the year in 2012.
Prior to joining First Pension Custodian, he worked with Grace-Lake Partners as the Chief Financial Officer (KPMG secondment) of the fast-growing Investment firm and its latest start-up, Moove Africa (Uber’s new fleet partner for Sub-Saharan Africa).
Adefemi is a Fellow of two professional bodies: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and a graduate of Accounting from University of Lagos.
He is a faculty member of the Financial Institutions Training Centre (FITC) and recently provided consulting service on the Competency Assessment System (CAS) Project for the institute.
Adefemi, who is widely travelled, loves football, is happily married, and blessed with two sons.
