Anne Obuseh (Company Secretary/Head, Legal)
Anne is a seasoned legal practitioner and Company Secretarial professional with extensive experience in corporate legal practice, company secretarial affairs and corporate governance. In her role as Head, Legal Services and Company Secretary, she provides legal and governance support to the organisation and contributes to the effective functioning of its corporate governance framework.
She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State. She was called to the Nigerian Bar as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in 2007.
Anne began her legal career at F.N.B Law Practice before transitioning to in-house legal practice with Royal Exchange Plc, a diversified financial services group with interests in General and Life Insurance, Healthcare, Financial Services and Microfinance Banking. During her time with the Group, she served as Company Secretary of Royal Exchange Finance Company Limited, where she developed substantial experience in company secretarial practice and corporate governance.
She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSAN) and has further enhanced her professional and leadership development through the Management Development Programme at Imperial College Business School, London and Lagos Business School. She is also a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
Anne brings a broad perspective to her work, combining legal expertise with practical experience in corporate governance and company secretarial practice. Her professional approach is characterised by sound judgement, attention to detail and a strong appreciation of the principles of good governance, integrity and accountability.
